Abstract
The project RF02-05, focused on the automated classification of butterfly species, aims to develop a machine learning-based model to support the taxonomic identification process through digital images. This project seeks to assist the Department of Natural History of the National Museum of Costa Rica by providing a proof of concept capable of contributing to the study, documentation, and conservation of biodiversity.
